Dental Crowns

Dental Crowns are an ideal way to restore teeth that have been weakened by decay or a very large filling.

A crown is a restoration that fits over the remaining part of you tooth making it resilient and giving it the look of a real tooth. Crowns can be used to restore teeth that have been broken or that have been weakened by decay. A crown may also be the ideal solution if you have a discoloured filling and you would like to improve the appearance of the tooth; or if you have had a root filling you may need a crown to protect what is left of the tooth.

We have a number of different crown options available from an all-ceramic or all-porcelain crown to metal and porcelain fused to metal crowns. Your dentist will he discuss which option would be best suited to your needs at your private consultation and will depend on what is best for your teeth and your budget.
